We are looking at the calendar and taking inventory on our lives...all that has happened and all that is about to begin.

Luke and I have been married 5 1/2 years, together for 10 years (11 in April). We have lived in East Lansing (MSU, Go State!), Detroit (Wayne State Med School...part of the time right in the heart of Detroit...!), and now Grand Rapids, which feels like a great balance between a city and a town...plus, it is close to our beloved Lake Michigan. Would be perfect if GR were on Lake Michigan...and if winter was a little shorter...

Maguai (Mog-why) is our siamese cat who will be 9 years old in November! We are looking into cloning her...it may put us further in debt, but she is the ideal cat!

Ciana (Cha-nah) is our yellow lab who will be 5 years old in May, but she is still under the impression that she is still a puppy...she will not be convinced that she is supposed to be "grown up".

Avery is our 2 1/2 year old fireball. She is a constant reminder of the miracles and purpose of life for us. We could not be luckier when it comes to our first born. She brings laughter and light and more love than we would have ever thought. Her imagination and love of life is a daily inspiration...we are learning from her every day.

Next, come the twins...seriously...they should be here in 4 days (or less!?) They are fraternal boys and were a complete surprise for us. We do have names picked out for them, but sorry, you will have to wait :)

Hints: they will have two middle names like their daddy and big sister...and their middle names will be balanced from family names...think you know what they are?

That's it for now, I will work on photos and more posts...but with the impending arrival of our two little men, no promises on when it may be...I will do my best.

Adventures in Leete Land

Okay, okay...after some prompting from friends and family, we have decided to start a blog to keep everyone up to date on our adventures. So, we will give it a shot and try to
keep posting the happenings of Leete Land.
